I've been away, as you all might have noticed. It was for a few different reasons. The first one being my camera broke, so I've been mostly doing Film Shots for another series in my projects. I've rediscovered the essence of my passion for photography: Life. Capturing moments, capturing people, freezing time, showing people's souls through a lens. I wouldn’t call myself a voyeur, but I look at people trough a lens. I wouldn’t call myself just a photographer either, I’m interested in people, who they are, how they think, what they do, what they like. Everyone interests me. Humans are very fascinating. People are fascinating. You never get what you see, at least not just what you see. However, if you look in someone’s eyes, his world opens up to you. A photograph is an open door, a welcome sign to someone’s life, to someone’s thoughts, to someone’s ideas. Photography is the reflection of life, and that's what I forgot. Shooting film brought me back. Because for a while, I felt like nothing meant anything anymore, photos were just emotionless pieces of paper, at least what I created felt that way for a while. Now it changed, it feels more like art again.

Also, I've been dealing with a lawsuit, which is a real pain in the ass. From what I think happened, the theft came on my deviantart, saved the pictures, made a very bad graphic of it and sold it to a bar. It's one of my old works, the silly "school" pictures I kept online just to laugh at. They actually took two of them for promotional and commercial uses of their club, both online and printed. It's taking a lot of my time and energy lately.

So that's it! I'm finally back with some shots, my first shoot since my camera got repaired. I also relaunched my website using dripbook. [link]
